 Diana Devlin will readily confess that one of her favourite places in the world is her garden. "I love to get my hands dirty and see nature in action. It's very satisfying to look at a beautiful rose and know that I had a part, no matter how big or small, in helping it flourish.

As a mother of two grown sons, and a grandmother of twin girls, she knows the importance of cultivating the values you want to guide them in their adult lives. "Children are, in many ways, like roses," Diana says with a broad smile. "Though our kids are grown now, I am of the mind that you reap what you sow. The payoff comes when they show you they understood those lessons."
